As we leave Jazzanova and cross the border from Germany to Belgium, we discover a new band: Hooverphonic. This band has a long history, and only two of the original members remain. Known for their relaxed Trip-Hop music, Hooverphonic have already released some very famous songs, such as "Mad About You" sang by their first singer Geike Arnaert. Unfortunately, Geike left the band in 2008, but was replaced by an equally talented singer: Noémie Wolfs. The band still tours around the world, and I had the chance to see them live during the 2011 edition of the Brussels Summer Festival. Their new album "The Night Before" is very good and so is their live performance.
